Doepfer A-156 Dual Quantizer
The A-156 module is a dual control voltage quantizer. The possible gradations on the A-156 are not limited to the usual halftone screening (ie gradation in 1 / 12V steps) but also enables other scaling such as major scale, minor scale, major chord, minor chord, root + fifth and switching sixth or seventh for the chords, i.e. the voltage values at the input are only converted into discrete voltages at the output that meet the selection criteria for the permissible voltage grid (eg. minor chord with seventh).
