Desmodus Versio! Another entry into the Harry Potter spell-book, or Noise Engineering’s hotly anticipated take on a reverb? Desmodus Versio is in fact the latter; a 10HP true stereo in/stereo out or mono in/stereo out effect. With controls to dial in gorgeous reverbs, wild delays, and chaotic, feverish hell-scapes; this is less of a room simulator and more of a synthetic tail generator with features designed for sound design and performance. Not only is DV a unique reverb, it’s a stereo DSP platform. A simple USB connection will allow you to update DV to a variety of future effects firmwares. Open-source support will be released near the end of the year, too, which will allow users to write their own firmware.

Desmodus Versio is part of the Versio DSP platform: transform it into a completely different effect by loading a growing number of alternate firmwares, completely free – or develop your own firmware with our open-source documentation.
