The Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 6 desktop analogue synth has the same inner design, analogue signal path and digital effects as the much-loved Dave Smith Prophet-6 keyboard, with a poly chain feature that lets you pair dual Prophet-6s to experience 12-voice polyphony and is compact enough to slip into a backpack.

Two discrete voltage-controlled oscillators per voice provide a warm, punchy sound, with two resonant filters per voice: a four-pole, low-pass filter and a two-pole, high-pass filter.
Use the dual effects section for high quality reverb, standard and BBD delays, chorus and phase shifter. The 24-bit, 48kHz resolution provides a true bypass to maintain a fully analogue signal path, and the stereo distortion effect is 100 percent analogue.

The Prophet 6 includes 500 permanent factory programs plus 500 re-writable user programs, accessible via the knob-per-function front panel. Toggle off the Preset button to experience the current settings of all switches and knobs, so that what you see is what you hear.
