The Airline Map is Eastwood's tribute to the stylish National Newport, or Map Guitar from the 1960s.
The Map Tenor is crafted from tone-chambered mahogany rather than the original Res-O-Glas bodies of the mid-century, which adds stability while still focusing on the model’s famous resonant tone. Add in two humbuckers, and you’ve got a modern tone monster with familiar controls and all of the mojo of a vintage National -- now as a 23” scale-length tenor.
