Soundbox Workshop 1993 Overdrive
The 1993 is a versatile low-gain overdrive pedal. It can serve as a stand-alone pedal for a smooth, always-on tone at the end of your signal chain, or it can be used to give other drive pedals a boost.
What sets it apart is the ability to choose between asymmetrical soft or hard clip modes. The soft clip circuit provides ample headroom for dynamic responsiveness, while the hard clip circuit takes you into classic British crunch territory. Additionally, you can engage a high-pass filter to cut through the mix, or you can leave it in the flat setting for a detailed and full sound.
The power supply is internally boosted to 18V to let the Burr Brown OPA2134 do what it does (if you know, you know).
