The Plumes KGR Cast Iron Limited Edition Plumes is a collaboration with KGR Harmony and, through them, Oitomi Ironworks. Together, they have developed a custom run of cast-iron enclosure Plumes pedals.
KGR Harmony, founded by Keijiro (KG) Fukushima, is based in Iwate, Japan, and specialises in handcrafted guitar pedals. Kejiro's strong interest in the long-debated topic of how enclosure materials affect tone led him to Oitomi Ironworks. Oitomi is known for handcrafting traditional and modern-style iron teapots and kettles, referred to as Tetsubin, using "Nanbu-tekki" techniques dating back over nine hundred years.
Plumes is a unique, all-analog approach to a classic tube-like overdrive circuit offering 3 different clipping voices, loads of headroom and almost three-dimensional clarity that will push your amp over the edge. The re-imagined tone control is finely tuned to sculpt low end, clear top end, and focus midrange with blooming sustain.
