As the gain is increased, it introduces a focused midrange push and smooth overdrive rather than heavy saturation.
With higher output than a typical overdrive and a distinctive clipping character, the HexDrive sits between boost and OD, making it well suited for tightening, shaping, and enhancing high-gain or edge-of-breakup tones without muddying them.
