Overeem Line Amp Mixer
Hans Overeem was making amps and PA equipment in Brisbane in the late 60s / early 70s and apparently was the go-to guy for vocal PAs for rock bands. This is a line mixer, with 6 channels (3 groups of 2) into 1 output. Each pair of channels has levels, bass, presence (mid) and treble controls. Inside, it's all discrete transistors running off around 40V. I have fully recapped and restored it, added an output transformer for a balanced out and generally got it back to 'factory' condition, apart from a slight tweak to the first pair of channels to give them a bit more bottom end. The control labelled Reverb is not connected to anything internally, you could mod it to add a Reverb out if desired. This thing is NOT hi-fi and is objectively awful compared to modern linear PA systems, but that means you won't find anything else that sounds quite like it. Best suited for driving synths, drums machines etc through it for colour. Get yourself some Australian-made 70s original goodness.
