Building on the workflow and portability that made the original blackbox a staple for electronic musicians and live performers, blackbox 2 significantly expands its sequencing, performance, sampling, and playback capabilities while retaining the immediacy of its touchscreen-based workflow.

At the centre of the system is a high-resolution 4" colour touchscreen that provides fast access to recording, editing, sequencing, mixing, effects processing, live looping, multisampling, and performance functions. From one-shots and sliced beats through to long-form loops, multisampled instruments, backing tracks, and live resampling, blackbox 2 is designed to function equally well as a portable sketchpad, live performance sampler, or central DAWless production hub.

Flexible Sampling Engine
