BOSS AD-3 Acoustic Instrument Processor
A clever fix for the usual piezo headaches, the Boss AD-3 Acoustic Instrument Processor was built to make acoustic-electrics sit properly in a mix without sounding thin or brittle. It shapes things in a more musical way than a standard EQ, with Bottom and Top controls that add weight and sparkle where it actually counts, giving pickups a more natural, mic'd feel.
The onboard chorus is split across lows and highs so it stays smooth and doesn't smear your sound, while the reverb leans deep and clear rather than splashy. There's also a built-in anti-feedback system that can be dialled in or kicked into auto when things start howling.
Plenty of flexibility too, with balanced outs for straight-to-PA use and a dedicated amp output.
This one has some gig history by the looks of it, scruffy condition pictured.
