Rosetones is a deeply expressive resonator-based effect that transforms your playing into evolving harmonic textures. It listens to incoming notes and redistributes them through a bank of tuned resonators, creating blooming chords, shifting harmonies, and richly layered synth-like tones that respond directly to your performance.

12-Voice Resonator Architecture

At its core is a 12-voice chromatic resonator bank that continuously analyses your input signal. Detected pitches are routed into tuned delay lines, with each pitch class exciting its own resonator. These voices can sustain, swell, and interact via feedback, resulting in dynamic harmonic movement that sits somewhere between a synthesiser and an acoustic resonance engine.

Twelve onboard LEDs provide real-time visual feedback, showing how each note excites the resonator bank as you play.

Harmonic Re-Voicing & Octave Control

The octave control shifts the active 12-note window across the keyboard range, allowing you to completely re-voice harmonies without changing what you play. A simple triad can be reshaped into new inversions, while low bass notes can drive higher resonators - turning weight into shimmer and contrast.

Modulation & Movement

Built-in modulation adds depth and motion to the resonator voices:

• Chorus introduces subtle detuning for a wide, ensemble-style effect
• Vibrato applies independent pitch movement across each voice

Sensitivity and feedback controls determine how strongly notes excite the resonators and how long they sustain, from tight percussive responses through to slow, evolving harmonic blooms.

Flexible Input & MIDI Integration

Rosetones responds naturally to any equal-tempered instrument including guitar, bass, and synthesiser. MIDI input allows precise pitch control layered over your audio, opening up tightly articulated harmonies that follow your timing and phrasing.

It also shines with unconventional sources - percussive input can reveal unexpected melodic structures, while sustained playing expands into dense harmonic space.

Standalone Drone Capability

With no input signal, Rosetones becomes its own instrument. Increasing sensitivity and feedback allows the internal noise floor to excite the resonators, producing organic drone textures shaped by octave, tone, and modulation controls.

Build & Integration

Designed for both pedalboard and studio use, Rosetones includes flexible gain staging, selectable bypass modes, and full MIDI control with onboard preset storage. The enclosure is crafted from a single block of walnut, CNC routed and hand-finished for a premium, tactile feel.
